12.0 Conclusions
The Radeon X800 Pro performances analisys is over: the results we got show that the Crucial's card is dedicated first of all to the PC gaming lovers, who want a system able to assure sceneries fluidity in any operative condition, and particularly where you have video and/or game drivers setup that can bring about high shown frames quality. The ATI's architectural choices, that is the use of a processor with a high clock frequency and speed GDDR3 local memory, make the card the best to run games with the AA and AF filters on and at high video resolution.
The Radeon X800 Pro has an AGP rather than PCI-Express as bus interface: this feature doesn't allow the card to be installed on the latest computers that have interface for PCI-E based graphic controller, but makes the card the excellent component for upgrading pcs with motherboard, cpu, and central memory that allow serious gaming together with the use of a powerful video card. An example can come from our testing: in every test done our measuring system radically changes its performances passing from the Radeon 9800 XT to the X800 Pro.
The Radeon X800 Pro card is sold by Crucial at about €240 and you can buy it on their web site.
