11.0 Half-Life 2

To make the performances' measuring with the game Half-Life 2 we used the Source Beta benchmark, included in its mod Counter-Strike. This mod uses the HL2's engine to make really realistic sceneries and characters.

The test tool aims to assess if the pc is able to run both the mod and Half-Life 2 also together. The tool gives the mean frame rate as output.

As with Far Cry, we can see that 9800 XT score is good level in all the four tests. The Radeon and the GeForce's scores are alike, though the Radeon slightly wins indipendently from the video resolution if we activate the AA and AF filters. On the contrary, the GeForce wins if the filters are off.
