Hi all,
I have recently upgraded to WinXP Home from win98SE and own a Voodoo3 3000 card. Under 98 I used the 1.07.00 original 3dfx driver. On installing XP, it installed a Microsoft signed driver but this has no 3dfx tools etc. A quick google search and I have found the Amiga Sport 3.0 driver for XP with the 3dfx tools, which I am now running. Can anyone tell me what advantages/disadvantages there are in using the Amiga Sport driver (not signed) over the Microsoft one?

Microsoft : poor support for a Voodoo Card because generic ; only D3d, no glide, no opengl, no 3dfx tools.
And running a no-signed (aka no-WHQL) third party driver (like All the third party drivers) will not be a problem for your Voodoo 3. ;)

I may be wrong, but cant you run Hitman in OpenGL ?
If so, you should try MesaFX.
Just put the glide3x.dll and the opengl32.dll in the game folder and you are good to go...
