compatibility Voodoo3 and directx 9.0c

my video card is Voodoo 3 with Amigamerlin 2.5 driver on windows 98SE
It supports directx 8.0. Is it compatible with directx 9.0?
Playing some games give problems with directX: 3D not present.

the only voodoo3 driver that has partial dx8/9 compatibility is SFFT alpha driver for win2000/xp.no such driver exists for win9x I'm afraid..

I would add the beta driver 1.07.00b (Janv. 2001) for a better "compatibility" with DirX8 and Win9x.
But this driver is really beta.  [:p]
