Wipeout Omega Collection: Sony shows off gameplay trailer and screenshots, and unveils launch date
Sony Interactive Entertainment, publisher of upcoming racing game Wipeout Omega Collection for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro, has posted a new gameplay trailer unveiling also the official release dates for both North America and Europe regions.
WipEout Omega Collection brings together contents from original WipEout HD, WipEout HD Fury, and WipEout 2048, all well-known games for all PlayStation users and fans,
and is able to use technology potential of the PS4 and PS4 Pro consoles to improve gameplay and graphical quality.
In fact, according to official Sony presentation, developers have been able to take full advantage of the power and memory bandwidth of PS4 and PS4 Pro console to
rework all textures used in original games and so to get now textures more clear and defined.
Furthermore Wipeout Omega Collection brings out improved graphical effects as well as higher and stable frame rates. Sony also promises that PlayStation 4 Pro's owners
will be able to play this game with an incredible amount of details. Using latest Sony console Wipeout Omega Collection runs at 4K video resolution with 60fps frame
rate and HDR.
Wipeout Omega Collection is now under development at the software houses Cool Beans and EPOS Game Studios and it's an exclusive for Sony gaming platforms PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro.
This racing game includes both single-player and multiplayer versions, and is set to be available on June 6th in North America and on June 7th in Europe.
