First hour of Prey from latest build shows off amazing graphics and involving gameplay
Even though official release date of upcoming first-person shooter Prey is not so much near us, a video showing first hour of Prey gameplay is already available on YouTube.
This asset shows off game's footage captured from latest development build of Prey, has been recorded at Bethesda Softworks press event, and has been posted by anofficial channel named I.Eat.Games.
According to video's description, alpha build of Prey was running on a not stated clearly PC platform featuring also a mysterious AMD Radeon video card (maybe this one could be a Vega-based solution) as well as a Xbox One controller.
Prey (2017) is the reboot of Prey (2006), a first-person shooter video game developed by Human Head Studios for Microsoft Windows, ported to Xbox 360 by Venom Games, and published by 2K Games in 2006.
Bethesda Softworks is the publisher of upcoming new entry of Prey series. This one is currently under development at Arkane Studios, is based on CryEngine technology to make available amazing graphics and involving gameplay, and includes single-player version only.
In Prey player can personify character Morgan Yu, moves into moon-orbiting space station named Talos I, and combat a lot of aliens to survive by resorting to a wide range of weapons and abilities.
Prey is set to be released on 5th May, 2017. More in details, at that time, three editions will be available to support PCs as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
