Visual Inspection 1/2
The box isn't very cumbersome and it have got a transparent plastic part that permits to watch the keyboard inside.
On the back there is a scheme which illustrates main product features.
Once opened the box you can see that it contains the keyboard and a polish towel signed by Enermax; there is no paper manuals or installation disks.
After removed protective plastics from the keyboard we can watch it closer. Its dimensions are quite small for a standard 105 keys keyboard: 45,5 cm length, 17.3cm width and 2.5cm max height
The whole surface is made in aluminum, which gives a considerable weight of 1,3 Kg, the surface was lavorated to gain a brushed and opaque effect, but there are some shiny inserts which surround every group of keys; angles and chines are dulled and don't have sharpen surfaces.
Bottom part is instead made in plastic except the central plate made in aluminum with the same processing of the keyboard surface; the huge presence of aluminum and it's considerable weight, with the well visible screws in the bottom surface transmits the sensation to play with a sturdy object.
The keyboard sits on five rubber stands which grants a great adhesion on every surface and prevent accidental movement.
Two posterior stands can be flipped and allow to raise the back of the keyboard of about half a centimeter.
Enermax used in this product Scissor technology that consists in a special support at which the keys are fixed, this support have got four hooking points, corresponding to the four angles of the key, and allows to press correctly and with the same force the key from any point of its surface.
In the next page we will complete product visual inspection, including keys as well as USB and audio connectors.
