E' il momento di una breve pausa...
A partire da oggi 17 Agosto 2002 prenderemo qualche giorno di pausa: durante questo periodo il contenuto del sito non verrà aggiornato mentre l'attività del forum proseguirà normalmente. Ringraziamo a tal proposito i nostri moderatori che ci aiutano quotidianamente nel non facile compito di supportare gli iscritti nella risoluzione delle problematiche più svariate inerenti l'hardware ed il software del pc.
Le prospettive a breve termine...
Sono molto soddisfacenti: rilasceremo infatti release aggiornate del driver video per le card 3dfx Banshee, Voodoo2, Voodoo3, Voodoo4 e Voodoo5. In particolare è prevista la pubblicazione di una nuova revisione del driver video FastVoodoo2 per Windows 98/ME mentre è attualmente in fase di test una versione chiamata FastVoodoo2 2000 per Windows 2000 che fino ad ora ha dato lusinghieri risultati in termini di compatibilità con i games e di prestazioni. Ricordo che 3dfx stessa non ha mai rilasciato un driver che attivasse la scheda Voodoo2 come accelleratore grafico in senso stretto ma solo come scheda secondaria capace di funzioni 2D e 3D di base. I FastVoodoo2 2000 verranno testati anche in ambiente Windows XP. Per quanto concerne le schede Voodoo3, Voodoo4 e Voodoo5 rilasceremo invece gli Amigamerlin 2.5 che consentiranno un ulteriore miglioramento dal punto di vista dell'utilizzo dell'hardware e, aspetto non meno importante, incrementeranno la compatibilità con i titoli recenti.
Abbiamo cercato inoltre di migliorare la qualità del supporto agli utenti possessori di card dotate di processori grafici ATI, Matrox, nVIDIA e PowerVR rivisitando la veste grafica e, parzialmente, i contenuti delle sezioni del sito chiamate all'uopo ATI Zone, Matrox Zone, nVIDIA Zone e PowerVR Zone. Gli utenti di questo hardware possono inoltre utilizzare il forum per richiedere aiuto nella configurazione del sistema (setup) e per ottimizzarne la resa (tweak). Il discorso vale pari pari per tutti coloro che sono dotati di controller grafici o altre periferiche di produttori differenti da quelli nominati sopra.

We thank to such intention our moderators that they help there daily in the not easy assignment of supportare the affiliate in the resolution of inherent most varied problem list the hardware and the software of the pc.

I remember that 3dfx same you/he/she has never released a driver that activated the card Voodoo2 as graphic accelleratore in narrow sense but only like it files secondary able functions 2D and 3D of base. FastVoodoo2 2000 will also be made a will in environment Windows XP. As far as it pertains to the cards Voodoo3, Voodoo4 and Voodoo5 we will release the Amigamerlins instead 2.5 that they will allow an ulterior amelioration from the point of view of the use of the hardware and, less non important aspect, will increase compatibility with the recent titles.
