Mediante il seguente comunicato stampa l'austriaca Noctua ha annunciato una edizione speciale del suo dissipatore per cpu NH-U12P - testato di recente da Hardware Setup in questo articolo, ndr - in grado di supportare i processori Intel Core i7, peraltro non ancora ufficialmente annunciati da Intel.

Prendendo spunto dalla sigla del socket che caratterizza i nuovi chip che sono parte dell'architettura Nehalem, ovvero LGA-1366, Noctua ha denominato il suo cooler SE1366. Il suo bundle include il sistema di montaggio SecuFirm di seconda generazione, la pasta termoconduttiva NT-H1 e una ventola da 120mm NF-P12 e promette elevata efficienza ma anche bassa rumorosità; sarà disponibile a breve sul mercato con un MSRP pari a 56.90 euro.
