NVIDIA Corporation ha presentato ufficialmente la gpu GeForce 7200 GS. Si tratta di un processore grafico (cfr. foto seguente) - collocabile nel segmento entry-level del mercato - che, in virtù del ridotto costo di acquisto (meno di $50, ndr), può essere utilizzato dagli assemblatori per la realizzazione di schede grafiche in versione economica e Windows Vista Ready.

Le gpu GeForce 7200 GS supportano Microsoft DirectX 9.0, Shader Model 3.0, High Dynamic-Range (HDR) Lighting e la tecnologia proprietaria NVIDIA PureVideo.
Sono già in commercio schede grafiche (cfr. foto seguente) basate sul chip video GeForce 7200 GS. A tal proposito NVIDIA ha citato i seguenti produttori: Albatron, ASUSTek Computer Inc., Biostar, ECS, EVGA Corporation, Foxconn, Galaxy, Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd., Innovision, Leadtek Research Inc., MSI Computer Corporation, Palit Microsystems, Inc., Point of View, PNY Technology, SPARKLE Computer Co., Ltd., XFX, Zogis e Zotac.
