HIS ha ampliato il proprio catalogo di video card di classe Radeon HD 7000 con la soluzione denominata HIS 7850 Fan 2GB. Tra le feature della nuova scheda grafica, che è naturalmente basata sulla gpu a 28nm Radeon HD 7850 di AMD, una posizione di primo piano è certamente occupata da un design ottimizzato per l'operatività in overclock.

Il core grafico della gpu e la memoria G-DDR5 on board lavorano infatti a 860MHz e 4800MHz di default: l'utente, tuttavia, può agevolmente eseguire il tuning dell'hardware spostando verso l'alto i valori delle frequenze di clock mediante l'utility proprietaria iTurbo, che rende disponibili anche funzionalità di monitoring della temperatura e delle tensioni.

La stabilizzazione dell'hardware è ottenuta da HIS con il ricorso a un cooler a ventola centrale, che HIS esalta non soltanto per l'efficienza ma anche per la silenziosità, dal momento che, in accordo al produttore, garantisce un livello di rumore inferiore alla soglia dei 28dB.

Il kit di connettori di uscita è composto da una porta DVI, una HDMI e due mini DP.
