BMW of North America e NVIDIA hanno annunciato oggi una partnership finalizzata a fare delle GPU NVIDIA il fulcro dei sistemi di navigazione e informazione di bordo per tutte le auto BMW di nuova generazione su scala globale.

Le GPU NVIDIA saranno il cuore dei sistemi di navigazione di bordo delle BMW e offriranno una grafica mozzafiato con modelli dettagliati del terreno, punti di interesse e una sensazionale nuova interfaccia. I processori NVIDIA saranno presenti in tutta la gamma BMW, ad inclusione della serie 7, serie 5, serie 3, Mini Cooper e serie X di SAV.

Il nuovo sistema BMW iDrive offrirà visuali in alta risoluzione, ma anche informazioni sul traffico e di navigazione in tempo reale. iDrive è il sistema di controllo intelligente che rende intuitivo l'uso delle funzioni di bordo delle nuove BMW. La sua capacità di mostrare con chiarezza i dettagli più importanti e di prendere decisioni previsionali per assistere il conducente consentirà ai proprietari di auto BMW di guidare con maggiore sicurezza e di concentrarsi sul piacere del viaggio.

BMW of North America and NVIDIA today announced a partnership that puts NVIDIA GPUs in navigation and vehicle-information systems across all next-generation BMW cars worldwide.

NVIDIA GPUs will power BMW's in-car navigation systems to deliver vivid graphics with detailed terrain models, landmarks and a stunning new interface. NVIDIA processors will be found throughout BMW's range of models, including the 7-Series, 5-Series, 3-Series, Mini Cooper line and X-Series of sports activity vehicles.

BMW's iDrive will feature high resolution visuals, real-time traffic reporting and navigation information. iDrive is the intelligent control concept that makes it intuitively simple to use a BMW's in-car features.
