LaCie annuncia la chiavetta LaCie XremKey che offre una protezione dei dati a elevato impatto nel settore. Con una capacità fino a 64GB e un casing inattaccabile, XtremKey è una chiavetta USB dalla massima robustezza che resiste agli agenti atmosferici.

LaCie, azienda ideatrice delle unità USB Flash a forma di chiavi piatte, vincitrici di vari premi di categoria, protegge i moduli di memoria Flash della XtremKey in un casing di metallo a forma di tubo da 2mm. Sigillato da una filettatura resistente all'usura e una guarnizione in gomma, la chiavetta è resistente fino a 100 metri di profondità, alle cadute da un’altezza di 5 metri e a valori estremi di caldo o freddo in qualsiasi luogo (+200°C / -50°).

LaCie XtremKey è stata realizzata in zamac, una lega di metallo composta da zinco, alluminio, magnesio e rame e può sostenere il peso di un autocarro di 10 tonnellate. Con un’altezza inferiore a 76 mm, questa unità di memoria Flash è un prodotto sicuro e resistente e si può attaccare al portachiavi in tutta comodità.

LaCie announced today the LaCie XtremKey – offering industrial-strength protection for your data. With capacities up to 64GB and an impenetrable shell, the XtremKey is a truly rugged USB key that stands up to the elements.

LaCie, originator of the flat, award-winning key-shaped USB flash drives, shields the XtremKey’s premium flash memory modules inside a 2mm metal pipe casing. Sealed with wear-resistant screw threads and a rubber O-ring, it is watertight up to 100 meters.
