Epic Games exhibits impressive gameplay trailer and hi-res screenshots from Unreal Tournament latest build
At the recent Game Developers Conference in San Francisco a protagonist role has been played by Epic Games with the announcement of the Unreal Engine 4 going
free but not only.
In fact Epic has unveiled new contents for its latest game Unreal Tournament, including the Malcolm and Necris characters as well as Outpost 23, a new beautiful map that's designed to show where UT can go with the latest
graphics engine's update.
And so Epic Games has posted a gameplay trailer showing off a map available in the latest build of Unreal Tournament named Outpost 23 and four new high resolution screenshots captured using basic commands of the Unreal Engine 4 in this
new UT map.
If you carefully look the video, you can perceive a new realism level, at least for a game belonging to the Unreal Tournament series, as well as an evolved lightning component. In the same time the Unreal Engine 4 exhibits a high
efficiency, because the rendered scenes are built in real-time with a satisfying frame rate of 60fps. Of course we have not information about the used hardware configuration for this testing.
Furthermore, please note that the first two screenshots are related to Malcolm and Necris characters respectively, while the last two are images from the Outpost 23 map environments. You can free download Unreal Tournament starting from this page.
