DICE lately has posted some interesting details on Naval Strike, the third DLC, or expansion pack, for its well-known first-person shooter
Battlefield 4. As you can imagine by the DLC's name, Naval Strike introduces an "intense and dramatic water-based combat" bringing the players to the
South China Sea.
One of most interesting features of the upcoming Naval Strike is the Carrier Assault mode: this one, according to the DICE presentation, is a remake
of the fan-favorite Titan mode Battlefield 2142. In the Carrier Assault mode there're two teams with this following target: destroying the enemy
warship.

But not only: Naval Strike also adds to Battlefield 4 four all-new multiplayer maps - named Lost Islands, Nansha Strike, Wave Breaker, and
Operation Mortar - as well as five all-new weapons and the amphibious hovercraft vehicle.
Furthermore all the four new multiplayer maps of Naval Strike are related to the water theme and are set in the coastal landscapes: for
example Lost Islands drives players into a fishing village where a passenger plane crashed, while Operation Mortar to an abandoned cliffside resort.
Naval Strike is planned for Spring 2014. Battlefield 4 will have five DLCs in total: in fact this Naval Strike will be followed by other
two expansions named Dragon's Teeth and Final Stand. These last will be available sometime in summer 2014.
