Shuttle Inc., leader di mercato nel settore mini-PC e produttore di soluzioni Multi-Form-Factor, annuncia oggi un nuovo modello per processori Intel Core i7 basato sul socket 1366. Lo Shuttle XPC Barebone SX58H7 utilizza allo scopo il potente chipset Intel X58 Express con southbridge ICH10R.

Questo nuovo modello di punta è destinato a guidare da subito la squadra di potenti mini-PC Shuttle facendo particolare onore al suo ruolo. Le sue superfici brillanti e l'eccellente lavorazione di questo mini-PC di soli 32,5 x 20,8 x 19 cm (L x P x A) sono entusiasmanti.

Ma anche i valori all'interno sono impressionanti. Due slot PCI-Express 2.0 possono alloggiare due schede video in formato single-slot o una scheda video dual-slot. Con un massimo di 16 GB di memoria DDR3 in modalità triple-channel (3+1), ripartiti in quattro banchi, questo barebone è in grado di tener testa anche alle applicazioni più assetate di risorse. Nel case costruito in alluminio è possibile installare due dischi fissi configurabili in raid Serial ATA II. La disponibilità è elevata e garantita da due prese di rete Gigabit con funzionalità load-balancing e failover.

"Con applicazioni di ambito professionale e giochi di ultima generazione l'XPC Barebone SX58H7 non incontra alcun ostacolo", dice Tom Seiffert, Head of Marketing & PR di Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH. "La tecnologia Vapor-Chamber, utilizzata per la prima volta nel nuovo sistema di raffreddamento a heat pipe 'I.C.Evo', ne aumenta l'efficacia riducendo contemporaneamente la rumorosità".

L'alimentazione di questo concentrato di potenza Shuttle è affidata a un alimentatore da 500 watt con certificazione "80PLUS Bronze". E ad aumentare ulteriormente l'affidabilità vi è il ricorso esclusivo ai condensatori allo stato solido (Solid Capacitors) di lunga durata.

SX58H7 for the first time with 500 Watt power supply

This new flagship targets gamers and enthusiasts and thus spearheads Shuttle's squad of high-performance Mini-PCs. Its highly polished surfaces and high-quality finishes measure only 32.5 x 20.8 x 19 cm (LWH) in size.

Two PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots can take up to two graphics cards in a single-slot design or a dual-slot graphics card. With a maximum of 16 GB DDR3 Memory in Triple-Channel Mode (3+1), distributed over four memory banks, this barebones PC is a match for the most resource-hungry applications. The aluminium case can house up to two hard disks to run in Serial-ATA-II Raid mode. Maximum accessibility is guaranteed through two Gigabit network interfaces with load balancing and failover-function.

"Applications from the professional sector and even brand-new games do not present any problem at all for the XPC Barebone SX58H7," says Tom Seiffert, Head of Marketing & PR at Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH. "The Vapor-Chamber technology used for the first time in the new 'I.C.Evo'-Heatpipe increases the effectiveness of the cooling system while reducing noise development at the same time."

Shuttle’s new high-performance cube is driven by a 500 Watt power supply with "80-PLUS-Bronze" certification. The sole use of long-life solid capacitors ensures highest reliability even under load.
