SPARKLE ha annunciato la scheda grafica GeForce 9600 GT 1GB. In accordo alla denominazione del produttore, la card è equipaggiata con 1Gb di RAM G-DDR3, a differenza delle 9600 GT ordinarie o aderenti al design reference che utilizzano soltanto 512Mb di memoria locale, per ottimizzare l'esecuzione dei game DirectX 10 come Crysis, Gears of War e Bioshock tra gli altri. La gpu della GeForce 9600 GT 1GB lavora a 650MHz mentre le 64 unità di stream hanno una frequenza operativa pari a 1625MHz; la frequenza di clock dei chip di G-DDR3 è invece pari a 1.8GHz.
