IWILL DK88, based on AMD Opteron ™ platform, can support up to 64GB memory. This solution is specially designed for the memory-intensive applications, and allows the most applications, especially in EDA/CAD/ rendering fields, running faster and more stable. IWILL DK88 successfully broke the traditional memory capacity tolerance. There are totally 16 DDR memory DIMMs (8 DIMMs per CPU) on board, and each DIMM could support up to 4GB memory. It supports registered memory with ECC and chip-kill function to fulfill the most critical task from Electronic Design Automation market. As design sizes continue to increase, more and more designs will exceed the current workstation's capacity. This leaves designers struggling to find a way around the workstation's memory limits.
