Corsair ha annunciato il kit di memorie DDR3 Dominator GT 2000MHz CAS 8 da 6GB (3x2GB), la prima soluzione al mondo che può vantare la certificazione XMP per l'utilizzo in abbinamento ai processori Core i7 Extreme Edition di Intel (l'elenco completo dei prodotti XMP-Ready è consultabile a questo indirizzo, ndr). In accordo alla denominazione del produttore, le nuove DIMM occupano la posizione di flag-ship della linea Dominator GT, che rappresenta l'offerta di fascia alta di Corsair per le configurazioni Core i7. Le DIMM sono certificate per operare a 2000MHz con timing pari a 8-8-8-24 e con una tensione di alimentazione pari a 1.65V.
