Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, Palit Microsystems ha annunciato la sua nuova linea di schede grafiche Palit GTS 250 equipaggiate rispettivamente con 2GB, 1GB e 512MB di RAM on board. Si tratta di video card basate sulla gpu GT200, il cui core lavora a 745MHz, ed equipaggiate con memoria RAM di tipo G-DDR3 a 0.8ns.

Palit ha differenziato questi prodotti dal progetto reference indicato da NVIDIA per i controller grafici di classe GeForce GTS 250 attraverso l'adozione di uno stadio di alimentazione a 4 fasi - al fine di stabilizzare l'erogazione della potenza - e di un cooler attivo che utilizza heat pipe, per offire all'utente la massima stabilità anche in presenza di un elevato e continuato carico computazionale (dovuto ad esempio al gaming, ndr), ed una speciale lega per la realizzazione della struttura lamellare, che include il nichel per minimizzare l'ossidazione.
