Biostar ha ufficializzato la lista delle sue motherboard già commercializzate e in grado di supportare le nuove cpu quad-core e triple-core a 45nm di AMD su socket AM2+ e AMD3 il cui arrivo sul mercato è atteso entro la fine dell'anno corrente (cfr. l'immagine che segue).

Il produttore ha reso noto che le motherboard citate supportano a livello hardware i nuovi processori a 45nm e che gli eventuali fallimenti del boot, riscontrabili in abbinamento alle cpu di cui sopra, possono essere risolti aggiornando il bios con una revisione AM3 Ready.

If you plan to use the latest AMD's AM3 processor, there is a chance the system may fail to boot for existing motherboards in the market. Please update bios with existing compatible AM2/AM2+ CPU if you encounter this situation. If bios is already updated to support AM3 processors, then no bios update will be necessary.
