GECUBE ha annunciato, mediante il comunicato stampa allegato di seguito, due nuove schede grafiche dual-gpu: entrambe sono basate sull'architettura ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 di AMD ed equipaggiate con memoria di tipo G-DDR3. Le card differiscono essenzialmente per il quantitativo di RAM on-board, pari in un caso a 1Gb e nell'altro a 512Mb.

Le specifiche e le feature dell'hardware sono pienamente aderenti al design reference indicato da AMD. Ne consegue, tra l'altro, il supporto delle tecnologie CrossFireX e DirectX 10.1, delle risoluzioni 1920x1200 (single-link DVI) e 2560x1600 (dual-link DVI, HDCP) e della tecnologia UVD (Unified Video Decoder), che permette la decodifica in hardware di contenuti VC-1 e H.264.
