ADATA Technology, azienda leader nella produzione di memorie DRAM ad elevate prestazioni e in soluzioni basate su tecnologia NAND Flash, ha annunciato le nuove memorie basate sullo standard DDR4. In diretta collaborazione con Intel, ADATA ha sviluppato e reso disponibili le memorie DDR4 RDIMM (ECC Registered DIMM) che sono pienamente compatibili con i nuovi processori Intel di prossima generazione, i modelli Xeon della famiglia E5-2600 v3.

Con capacità pari a 4, 8 oppure 16 Gbytes, i nuovi moduli operano con una tensione di 1.2 volts e frequenza di clock di 2.133 MHz. La frequenza di funzionamento più elevata, i superiori valori di trasferimento dei dati e la inferiore tensione di alimentazione caratterizzano le memorie DDR4, rendendole particolarmente indicate soprattutto per il settore dei server cloud, oggetto di una rapida espansione, dello storage e delle applicazioni di networking.

ADATA Technology, a leading manufacturer of high-performance DRAM modules and NAND Flash application products, has announced the launch of new DDR4 modules. Working in close cooperation with Intel, ADATA has successfully developed and launched DDR4 RDIMM (ECC Registered DIMM) that are fully compatible with the newly announced, next generation platform of Intel Xeon processor E5-2600 v3 product family.

Coming in densities of 4, 8 & 16 gigabytes, the new modules run at 1.2 volts, and at a frequency of 2133MHz. The higher clock frequencies, faster data transfer rates, and low voltage operation of DDR4 memory make it especially suited for use in the growing cloud server, storage and networking application fields.
