TUL Corporation ha ampliato la linea di video card TurboDuo con la soluzione non reference e factory-overclocked siglata PowerColor TurboDuo R9 280X OC (part number: AXR9 280X 3GBD5-T2DHE/OC).

In accordo alle informazioni diffuse dal produttore, la scheda video PowerColor TurboDuo R9 280X OC è realizzata intorno a una gpu il cui core grafico lavora con una frequenza di base pari a 880MHz e può raggiungere il valore di 1030MHz in virtù del supporto della tecnologia di Boost. Il frame buffer, invece, è implementato con 3GB di RAM G-DDR5, lavora a 1500MHz (o 6Gbps) e scambia dati con il processore grafico attraverso un bus a 384-bit.

L'operatività predefinita in condizioni di overclocking viene supportata, da un lato, dalla feature proprietaria denominata "Gold Power Kit" e coincidente con uno stadio di alimentazione sovradimensionato con desing multi-fase e componenti discreti di elevata qualità, e, dall'altro, da un cooler particolarmente efficiente. Quest'ultimo include due ventole da 90mm, heat pipe e un'ampia e densa struttura lamellare in alluminio.
