Microsoft has announced Windows Server 2003 R2, an update release of Windows Server 2003 operating system. R2 includes Windows Server 2003 + SP1 as well as several new components. It will be available in Standard, Enterprise, Datacenter, Small Business Server and Storage Server editions for x86 and x64.

Microsoft ha pubblicato la nuova release R2 del Sistema Operativo Windows Server 2003: in particolare sono disponibili le edizioni Standard, Enterprise, Datacenter, Small Business Server e Storage Server per architetture x86 e x64. Windows Server 2003 R2 - che è scaricabile in versione di prova per trenta giorni - include, oltre al SP1 sviluppato per la precedente release, un ampio elenco di componenti introdotti ex novo o aggiornati.
