Apple ha annunciato oggi il nuovo iPod touch, arricchito di nuove eccezionali funzionalità, tra cui lo straordinario display Retina di Apple, videochiamate FaceTime, registrazione video HD, chip Apple A4, giroscopio a 3 assi, iOS 4.1 e Game Center, tutte racchiuse nell’iPod touch più sottile e leggero di tutti i tempi. Il nuovo iPod touch offre fino a 40 ore di riproduzione audio e fino a sette ore di riproduzione video con una sola carica.*

Grazie allo straordinario display Retina di Apple, tutto sull’iPod touch appare ancor più incredibile, che si tratti di giochi, video, del web o delle foto preferite. Il display Retina ha una risoluzione di 960x640 pixel, quattro volte il numero di pixel rispetto ai modelli precedenti. Il risultato è una densità di 326 pixel per pollice, talmente alta che l’occhio umano non è in grado di distinguere i singoli pixel quando si tiene l’iPod touch a una distanza normale; e ciò rende testo, immagini e video ancor più nitidi, fluidi e realistici.

Grazie alla nuova fotocamera frontale e al microfono, iPod touch consente di fare videochiamate FaceTime via Wi-Fi. Apple today announced the new iPod touch, packed with incredible new features including Apple’s stunning Retina display, FaceTime video calling, HD video recording, Apple’s A4 chip, 3-axis gyro, iOS 4.1 and Game Center—all combined in the thinnest and lightest iPod touch ever.
