Foxconn, the leading manufacturer of motherboards today proudly unveils her A88GM series motherboards. The new flagship series is based on the latest AMD 880G+SB850
chipset, supporting the powerful and energy efficient Phenom II X6 CPU, AM3 and DDR3 platform.
Foxconn’s A88GM series motherboards are equipped with 100% solid capacitors developed by the leading Japanese manufacturers---Fujitsu. With an average lifespan of
60,000 hours, these solid capacitors provide the stability, reliability and longevity essential to meet the power needs of high-end processors and other components
running today's most demanding applications and games. Besides, compared with those swelling and leaking capacitors that may damage the motherboard completely, 100%
solid capacitors, as there is no liquid component, they don't leak or explode. In addition, their ability to tolerate extreme conditions and their overall robustness
make them much more suited to extreme operating environments.
In order to fulfill consumer demands for convenience and full-featured multimedia equipment expansion, the A88GM motherboard is equipped with a wide range of
connectivity options including D-sub, also a digital video interface (DVI) for digital video display and a high definition multimedia interface (HDMI) for digital
video and audio output to help consumers simplify wiring connections. Thanks to these designs, consumers can enjoy high definition video and audio at the same time to
fully meet the HD multimedia demand of the next generation.
Another feature found on Foxconn A88GM motherboards is the 4+1 Power Phases, this incorporating design ensures a steadier power delivery and immediate current support
for the CPU during heavy work loads or over-clocking. Additionally, 1 Phase for Northbridge and 1 Phase for Memory allow users to process more tasks simultaneously
with greater performance and reduced power consumption. Also, the thermal design allows users to enjoy longer component lifetime through lower temperatures and
absolute silence combined with the ultimate thermal performance on chipsets, CPU power components and the PCB.
