ASUS ha annunciato il monitor LS246H che va ad ampliare la gamma di soluzioni LDC siglata Designo. La device si fa notare innanzitutto per la profondità strutturale molto contenuta (in gergo il nuovo LS246H è un "ultra-slim") e per la grande facilità con cui è possibile variare la posizione e l'angolo visivo, frutto della tecnologia Ergo-Fit.

Il display LCD LS246H di Asus vanta un rapporto di contrasto pari a 50.000:1, un tempo di risposta di 2ms e il supporto della tecnologia proprietaria Asus Splendid Video Intelligence, che esalta la qualità dell'immagine visualizzata durante il playback in full HD a 1080p. Asus sottolinea che il monitor è prodotto con l'ausilio di un quantitativo di materiali inquinanti pari al 50% in meno rispetto alla media e che, infine, la periferica riduce, fino al 40%, il consumo di potenza.
