MSI ha annunciato la compatibilità di tutte le sue motherboard basate sul chipset X58 di Intel con i prossimi processori a sei core aventi il nome in codice di "Clarkdale" e prodotti con l'ausilio della tecnologia a 32nm.

In accordo al board maker, le proprie schede madri X58-based possono essere aggiornate mediante un upgrade del bios. Segue la lista delle motherboard con l'indicazione sulla versione del bios a partire dalla quale possono essere considerate "32nm Ready".
