Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, BFG Technologies ha annunciato le schede grafiche di fascia alta BFG GeForce GTX 295 H2OC con ThermoIntelligence Water Cooling Solution e BFG GeForce GTX 285 OCFU.

La BFG GeForce GTX 295 H2OC con ThermoIntelligence Water Cooling Solution è una variante non reference della GeForce GTX 295 a PCB unico, che è equipaggiata con un cooler a liquido, sviluppato in collaborazione con Danger Den e in grado di ridurre di oltre 40°la temperatura operativa della card rispetto alle soluzioni convenzionali. Queste le frequenze di clock dei componenti cardine: 675MHz (vs. 576MHz standard) per il core grafico, 1458MHz (vs. 1242MHz standard) per gli shader e 2214MHz (vs. 1998MHz standard) per i 1792MB di G-DDR3.

La BFG GeForce GTX 285 OCFU è definita dal maker come la GeForce GTX 285 più veloce al mondo: per conseguire questo obiettivo BFG non ha esitato ad impostare la seguente configurazione dal punto di vista delle frequenze in gioco: 712MHz (vs. 648MHz standard) per il core grafico, 1620MHz (vs. 1476MHz standard) per gli shader, 2664MHz (vs. 2484MHz standard) per 1GB di RAM G-DDR3.
