OCZ Technology ha realizzato una nuova linea di Solid State Drive (SSD) siglata Agility. I nuovi drive a stato solido hanno un form factor di 2.5", una interfaccia verso il mondo di tipo SATA II ed una capacità variabile da 30GB a 120GB.

In accordo al produttore, i nuovi SSD Agility sono consigliati per l'equipaggiamento dei sistemi di tipo notebook e desktop di classe mainstream. Le prestazioni in lettura e scrittura sono pari rispettivamente a 230MB/s e a 135MB/s. Tali valori sono ottenuti con l'ausilio di una memoria cache da 64MB.

OCZ esalta il rapporto qualità/prezzo dei nuovi drive che possono vantare inoltre un Mean Time Before Failure (MTBF) pari a 1.5 milioni di ore.
