Kingston Technology ha lanciato il primo kit di RAM DDR3 XMP Ready per le configurazione in triple channel delle motherboard basate sul chipset X58 di Intel (per i processori Core i7) in grado di operare ad una frequenza operativa pari a 1600MHz. Le memorie fanno parte della linea HyperX e sono siglate KHX12800D3K3/12GX: come è facile intuire, il kit include tre moduli di DIMM, ciascuna delle quali ha una capacità di memorizzazione pari a 4GB ed un profilo di timing pari a CL9-9-9-27 con tensione di alimentazione di 1.65V.
