Electronic Arts, publisher of Medal of Honor, recently posted the first batch of screenshots of its upcoming first-person shooter video game in the Medal of Honor series. This title was developed by both
EA Los Angeles and EA Digital Illusions CE (DICE), with tht first company committed to single-player mode and the second to multi-player mode.
So Medal of Honor is based on two graphics engines, a highly customized Epic Games's Unreal Engine 3 core for single-player mode and the DICE's Frostbite
Engine for gameplay on network: in this way players can get high-end visual quality in single-player sessions and high frame rates in multi-player sessions.
Medal of Honor doesn't continue the story of previous episodes; it in fact players follow the U.S. Army in modern-day Afghanistan, as you can see by those images. The game'll be released in Fall 2010; of course there'll be three editions for PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 platforms respectively.
