The long-awaited release date of racing game DiRT Rally 2.0, sequel of title DiRT Rally, launched in 2015, is always closer, and so its publisher Codemasters has showed off a lot of media assets including following trailer, named "Rally Through the Ages", and Full HD screenshots.

According to Codemasters, the video presents some of most iconic vehicles in the rally history like the Alpine Renault A110 1600 S rallying through New Zealand the 1960s and the Ford Escort Mk II that takes centre stage in Australia during the 1970s.

But the trailer brings out also a preview of the Audi Sport quattro S1 E2 racing through the tarmac streets of Spain in the 1980s, and the SUBARU Impreza 1995 that wins races in New England.

Another interesting aspect of video is the first look at DiRT Rally 2.0's stage degradation feature in action. This new add-on is able to simulate the way surfaces evolve throughout the course of a rally event.

Of course players must adapt their driving style and dynamically configure your cars with an optimal vehicle setup to make the most of this feature and cope with the evolving track.

DiRT Rally 2.0 is set to be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC (on DVD and via Steam) on Tuesday 26 February 2019. Players who pre-order Deluxe Edition will have early access to the game on 22 February and will also receive first two seasons of post-release content once available.
