At QuakeCon 2018 well-known publisher Bethesda has unveiled details as well as media assets, like the following gameplay trailer and several in-game
screenshots, on its upcoming first-person shooter DOOM Eternal.
DOOM Eternal is the next chapter DOOM videogames series and specifically the sequel of game DOOM that the same plublisher Bethesda has released in
2016 for both gaming platforms Windows based PCs and consoles.
The trailer reveals gameplay of DOOM Eternal with over 15 minutes of game footage, and fully confirms the features spotted by Bethesda in the
official press release.
And so DOOM Eternal brings out - just for players' happiness - a redesigned set of armor as well as an arsenal of new equipment, including a
shoulder-mounted cannon with flamethrower and extendable blade, and a wide swarm of demons from classic DOOM titles like the Archvile, Pain Elemental, and Arachnotron,
and new ones.
DOOM Eternal is currently under development at id Software's studios. The historical software house is working with proprietary graphics engine
idTech 7: this core technology promises - according to Bethesda - to render environments and characters with never seen before realism and graphics details.
The DOOM Eternal release is planned sometime in 2019: in fact, Bethesda doesn't shared a official launch date until now, but next year is right if
you want to get hands on this titile.
idSoftware is developing several DOOM Eternal's editions aiming to support several gaming platforms including Windows PCs, and consoles Sony
PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
