2K Games, publisher of Mafia II, the sequel of well-known Mafia The City of Lost Heaven, showed the following trailer and several Mafia II's screenshots at E3 Expo in the Los Angeles Convention Center.

This third-person shooter is currently under development by 2K Czech software house and it's based on The Illusion Engine: this one supports the Microsoft DirectX 10 APIs as well as PhysX effects.

Mafia II will be available in three editions for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms "early in 2010", according to 2K Games.
