Reg Organizer 6.20 |
In the brand new Reg Organizer 6.20, we have added three new capabilities for Registry Editor and Application Uninstaller to make your work with the program even easier than before.
For starters, Application Uninstaller in Reg Organizer 6.20 now can backup traces of tracked installed programs if they were uninstalled without Reg Organizer (e.g. via "Control Panel" or the Start menu). Such instances happen notably often, and thanks to this new function, Reg Organizer helps you eliminate residues of unnecessary applications regardless of how exactly an app was removed. You only need to track the program’s installation; that’s it. The traces of deleted programs are reserved and can be removed at any time If a program that was installed with tracking is removed via "Control Panel" or with any other method without Reg Organizer, the program list will show "Traces of ...", where the ellipsis is the name of the uninstalled program. You can remove these traces later at any time. Another novelty in Application Uninstaller is the ability to save the list of applications to an HTML file. The given file is ideally suited for publishing or sharing. For example, in some situations technical support staff asks a user to send the list of installed programs for in-depth analysis of the problem. Now you can easily do this using Reg Organizer. The list of applications can be exported In order to save the list of programs to a file, select Export the Applications List in the Applications list menu. An HTML file containing the list will then appear on your desktop. The third novelty is found in Registry Editor. The new version features registry key access permissions editing. Now you can adjust access permissions to open registry keys for individual users and user groups. Registry key permissions To adjust registry key access permissions, select the required key in the left list, bring up the context menu and select There are other improvements making your work easier too. For instance, favorite records of the built-in RegEdit are now imported to the Registry Editor automatically. And while working with registry keys, you can now use right-click both to select an item and to bring up its context menu. |
