voodoo3 2000 performance problem

Hi , my voodoo3 2000 wich i bought yesterday have performance problem[xx(].When i tested it on  3dMark99 Max it got only 2499 3d Marks(My voodoo2 got 2800 marks).Can you tell me how can i increase the performance pls.

Maybe is a driver problem.
Uninstall amigamerlin through Driver Uninstaller, update directx and reinstall drivers.

what is the rest of the system?maybe that is the problem...don't know :S
updating the directx can cause marks loss I think...

you are probably hitting the cpu limit-voodoo2 can indeed be faster than voodoo3 on (very) old pcs.a pentium3 500 or better would improve your performance greatly-try getting one from ebay,they are dirt cheap.according to google,you should have a socket370 mainboard:

better check your mainboard for supported cpus before buying.

I overclocked my cpu to 458mhz and i get 3200 3dmarks. The problem is
solved[8D].
