Received this from a friend of mine:
=========================

Hi,

Received the cards yesterday.   One of them was identical to a card that I already had.  I put them into my machine, which is a Celeron Pentium II running at 2Gh.  The driver I used was Fastvoodoo2 4.6
The program I am running is F/A-18 Korea which works fine on 800 x 600, and has an option for 1024 x 768, but will not run in this mode.  The program tells me that the 3DFX card does not support that resolution.

I have followed the installation instructions from the website that you sent me, and the video configuration tells me that SLI is detected, so I don't understand why my program will not run in the higher resolution.  Any ideas??

First of, his processor is either a Celleron or a Pentium. There is no Celeron Pentium processor. And there is no PII running at 2GHz, so I assume his processor is a Celeron based on P4 core.

His problem might be in the game. Did he try any other Glide game to make sure 1024x768 resolution is not working ? F/A-18 might be designed to run on a single VooDoo2, so it won't allow him to switch to 1024x768. SLI should be detected, as if it wasn't his picture would be interlaced (only odd or even scanlines would be displayed).

Yeh I know - "Celeron Pentium II running at 2Gh" LOL. As I said, it was from a friend, I simply copy and paste all the text. I've let him know your response, will get back to you what he finds out.
