Would this thermaltake cooler make a good Voodoo5 cooler? The problem is that the heatsink dimension is 40mm x 35mm instead of 40x40. Would that be sufficient?

It depends on the type of memory currently on your Voodoo5.  Hyundai SDRAM is worth it.  Other types are not, and expect to only go upto a maximum of about 175Mhz with non Hyundai SDRAM (waste of time).  Also the heatsinks are too small at 30*40.  Copper northbridge heatsinks with a 45*45 standard fan is your best bet.  I have a pair of 8000rpm fans that I used with a pair of copper northbridge coolers.  They provided excellent cooling but the Toshiba SDRAM held the whole card back, despite my use of RAMsinks.  The card would overclock to about 192MHz stable but with artifacts.

Yeah - I've looked into these but was only really interested in the fan to be honest.

That would fit nicely as it's 40x40, but from what I've read these are pretty noisy fans. Imagine two of em pitched together.

I'm looking at 40mm to 60mm adapters with the original Heatsinks as a possible solution.

Or just 40x40mm fans but with a deeper height - if that makes any sense! 20mm height instead of 10mm.

My last option would be this!
