Problem with MAME

Hi. I have a problem with running latest MAME emulator. I always got this error:

"Proposed video mode not supported \\.\DISPLAY1
Unable to initialize Direct3D.
Unable to complete window creation"

Any ideas? My computer config is below.

P3@866MHz, 256MB RAM, Voodoo3 3000 16MB
WinXP SP1, DirectX 9.0c, AmigaSport 3.0

I suggest you try the latest SFFT release.
Mame ran just fine in D3D with a Voodoo4-4500.
