Picking a motherboard...

Ok, I've not had luck with selecting motherboards for what I'm trying to do, so I have decided to ask you folks.

I have an ultra low voltage Athlon XP-M (currently pinmodded to 2.4ghz due to my poor motherboard, and still cold [8D]), and a bunch of 3dfx cards with an AGP 3.3v requirement. I would like to know what the best motherboard for overclocking XP-M processors which has support for old 3.3v AGP cards is. I intend to also get an absurdly large amount of DDR memory that can handle a fsb overclock to work with it.

Toss some ideas at me please. :)

EDIT: It's actually the same motherboard as in my signature, but the fsb thing didn't work out, so it's 24x 100mhz now.

well i would try an abit motherboards but i do not know of one that can run an Athlon XP-M and has a 2x 3.3v agp socket.you could get a agp to pci adapter if you can't find a motherboard that has a 3.3v agp socket

if you would like to get a Intel motherboard try the abit sa7 it has a 2x 3.3v agp socket

abit makes some of the best overclocking motherboards

I guess for xp-m with agp 3.3v support, you are limited to kt333 boards,kt3 ultra was one of the best, but epox was one too,and abit..
keep in mind that this boards maybe could only handle 2Gb without overclock...
I had a nf2 (dfi) and with 2x1Gb it was a pain to overclock..
you could try tyan boards :)
If it was me,i'd stay with that board..you won't earn a lot..I guess..
Buy some good tccd ram (2x512) (patriot xblk for example) and you are more than well served, and since most kt333 board won't go further than 200Mhz/230Mhz you can have lower timings, that amds love :)

Hmm... well in the process of messing with other pinmods to force a multiplier change, I destroyed the bios for my KT3. I just ordered another board and used the bios chip from it in this one, since it has a couple of extra features and heatsinks that I slapped on everything that looked important. I'll be ordering a new bios chip for the one I ordered though it though, so I'll have a spare. I shant be messing with the multiplier anymore, but I did mod the voltage up to 1.85v from 1.35 and now have it running at 24x107=2.57Ghz, with 3GiB of memory at 2-2-5-2-T1, the lowest timings the motherboard would let me set.

So I've got the equivalent of a 3300+ with slow (214mhz) memory. -_-

It is an improvement though, and I might try pulling out some ram if I decide I want to try for more, since I've heard that this board is bad with multiple slots used. The processor's still pretty cold though.

I think I'll grab SFFT's drivers and see how Garrysmod works with 3GiB of memory. Man, that is such overkill. XD
