Hi,
If you disable Vsync, how is the performance ?

Since you're running a K6, in your BIOS look for an entry with something like Write Allocation or Write Enable and enable it.

Hello, thanks for the answer, but couldn't find anything like that in BIOS. I fingured out something. I switched from the integreted graphics to S3Vrige and 3DMark score was two times higher. Then I've tried k6-450 instead of 266 and now I'm getting result over 2000 points which seems to be pretty good.

Hello everybody,

I'm trying to get my Voodoo 2 SLI system working on Win98SE. All drivers are installed, I was trying both FastVoodoo and original drivers. My problem is that the system seems to be running poor 3D performance. I'm saying "seems to" cause I'm not sure if it's normal or not. I can see almost everybody runs voodoo 2 SLI with CPUs of 400Mhz or faster. I have AMD k6-2 with 266Mhz. Is it possible that this processor slows down my voodoo's so I get result around 600 points in 3Dmark 99max?

I was trying games like Turok 1 and Quake 2 and they run good on 640 resolution but not that good on 800x600.

To be specific i have :
2x Voodoo2 2455P 12MB
Integrated VGA from chipset Sis 530 with 8MB of memory
AMD K6-2 266Mhz
256MB Ram

I remember I was playing Turok 1 14 years ago with Voodoo1 and AMD 133Mhz with no problem, so i was expecting better performance from voodoo 2. Should i start looking for better hardware or could it be a software problem, drivers etc..?

Thank you in advance,
Ondrej.
