Hi all,

In a previous thread I had posted my tribute 3dfx system with Voodoo5 and other goodies. However, it was too modern in its implementation (modern case, lcd monitor). I decided to go back to the old-school and make some changes [8D]

Here are my system specs and pictures. Hope you all like!

After isntalling everything, I just had to spend the night playing UT online. Best pc game ever - and capture the flag online is still a blast even in 2011!

As you can see, I kept everything retro and stock. No flashiness or newer parts. All that I'm missing now is a set of wheels for my server case and everything will be pretty much complete.

What is fascinating is that this system is powerful enough for word processing, browsing and basic office tasks.

Hello everyone,

I'm from Canada, I'm new to the forum but I have been visiting and reading threads for a few years now.

I love computer hardware (especially retro hardware) and I'm a huge 3dfx freak! I hope to stay here for a while and make some new friends as well.

Anyways, without further ado, this is the system that I just finished building - it's my tribute to 3dfx and my childhood days :D
