Wow, you've done a great job. Can the wires that you have glued on the ram chips be free so heat sinks can be placed on the chips? There glued on just to hold wire in place yes?

Maximumpc gives a plug to 3dfxzone.it on page 12 of the February 2009 issue. Whats neat about this is there was a 3dfx article from around 2002 in Maximumpc that wasnt so nice. I dont think Maximumpc or anyone else thought 3dfx fans would still be using their cards and thanks goes to ALL you wonderful people who make the drivers for us all : )

Hello, im interested to know if anyone is running there raven or any other banshee past the 100fsb without problems, and how fast there fsb is, i want to run a raven in a newer mobo but read its not possible due to 3dfx chip design.

i had a chance to get a couple more once and blew it off, wish i would have gotten em now

its sorta small but the shuttle ss51g has been tested by shuttle to take the v5 5500 agp card, nice thing about them is they will take up to a 3.06 p4 at 533 fsb, the board itself takes 333ddr, i got mine from shuttle store off ebay for about 120.00 mobo, case,

now someone else has gone over 4400 with a v4, with a cpu at 2403, wonder if anyone will ever reach the 5000 mark with a 3dfx card?

yes that was lowest setting but even at 800 by 600 it beat it, the v4 didnt beat the v5, the faster cpu beat the slower cpu, but what is the difference, if a v5 cant go in a faster mobo its not the v4's fault, i wish i had a v4 with 64 megs of ram darnit

3dfx v4-lcard is agp 4x 1.5v and its no protype, just the same as the regular v4 4500 card, as far as it being faster than a v5, it is and it isnt, first off it is if bandwidth isnt a problem in a new mobo and cpu, no matter what ppl say a cpu will take up where a 3dfx card leaves off, i got a score of 4100 with my L-card at low settings 2001se with a 3200 400fsb, same in games, as long as badwidth not needed, v5 scores higher in bandwidth though of course. o for those that say the  3dfx cant make use of a faster cpu, wrong, the card might stop but the cpu wont,

what you can use on a 3dfx card is almost limitless, alot of coolers dont say anything about 3dfx(why would they its been 5 years) but they fit without modification, others need slight to heavy mod's to work but if you really try almost any will fit, i used 2 geforce4 copper collers on my v5 and they worked way better than the stock heatsinks, left one only need slight cut to fit, right one fit perfect. some ppl even put p3 coolers on them
