Tried the

ssf alpha 47

with a Voodoo 5500 PCI/Mac (flashed to 1.18) under Windows XP 64 Bit Edition. Installs, but after the restart windows hangs and you can just see the mouse pointer. After that it didn´t move on.

Something is still not working for 64 Bit ...

should be .. if it is a PCI card you need a second graphics card to see what you are doing ...

It seems to be a problem of the 1.18 BIOS and DVI Port ...

I was using a Geforce graphics card before.

There was an option to rotate the screen (for reading e-books for instance).

Is there a 3dfx driver which also supports this feature? If not, is it planed to support it?

I´m using Windows 2003 Server Enterprise R2 (32 Bit) and I´ve recently installed a Voodoo 5500 PCI Mac (1.18 Bios).

I´ve plugged my monitor into the DVI Connection.

Works fine, but I have found one problem. On the left side of the monitor is a ~ 10 Pixel vertical black area (that means the screen starts there and goes to the right).

I´ve tried different resolutions (another than 1280x1024) and this black area still exists. On the right side of the monitor it is fine (it ends on the border). This black area wasn´t there with my previous GF 6800 Ultra.

There seems to be some kind of timing bug in the DVI Output Driver Routines ...

Greetings and thanks
