Hi to all,
do you know how can I activate 3d acceleration on a machine with Matrox millenium G200 and Trust Voodoo Dragon 2 on a xubuntu 6.10 with xorg?

I have read some manual (http://ftp.x.org/pub/X11R7.0/doc/html/glide.4.html) and I have installed the libglide2x.so and follow the instruction to create a symbolic link (# ln -s /usr/lib/libglide2x.so /usr/X11R6/lib/modules)  but I'm not able to see the correct loading of the Voodoo 2 driver in the log file of xorg (please, see the attachment for more info)

I see that the system found the card:

(--) PCI: (0:10:0) 3Dfx Interactive, Inc. Voodoo 2 rev 2, Mem @ 0xe6000000/24

but xorg don't load any driver.

This is a part of xorg.conf file:

Section "Device"
Identifier "Matrox G200"
Driver "mga"
VendorName "Videocard vendor"
BoardName "Matrox Millennium G200"
VideoRam 8192
Option "HWCursor" "off"
Option "dpms"
EndSection

# Voodoo 2
Section "Device"
Identifier "Voodoo"
Driver "glide"
Option "dpms" "on"
Option "GlideDevice" "0"
EndSection

Please, let me know if you want other informations about the problem.

Thank you very much.
Bye
