trigger... the problem is that the pc is not powering up at all! Is as if I don't have the power cables pluged. the only way to make it power up is when I don't plug the extra power plug on the card (but of course nothing comes up from the agp card). I also did a thorough visual inspection of both sides of the card... no components apear to be missing or blown up...  bloodworm I've also tried to remove the power on the fans but it's the same... Maybe the card is faulty after all... :(

Hi guys,
I've just purchaced a Voodoo5 5500 PCI DVI mac version of course hoping to flash it with the pc voodoo5 bios. My problem is that as soon as I plug in the card the PC refuses to even power up!!! (when I press the power button the power LED comes up for a split second and then it shuts of -in other words, it just blinks-, only the power led, the system remains silent and stays off -it's like not having any power cables on it and trying to power it up) If I don't plug the power cable on the card, it powers up but of course nothing is coming up on the screen, even from the agp card. Any ideas if that is a problem that can be fixed? My mobo is an ASUS P4S533-E but I think it has something to do with the power box supply... a sort circuit or something... as soon as I remove the card, the system works perfectly fine!

thanks
