Nightbird and anyone intrested. The Amigamerlin 2.5 driver set is the only drivers out of 4 different sets that I tried that will Run Nascar Racing 2003 on my v4 card.. Thank you very much for you help.

Thanks Nightbird for your reply. No, not Nascar Thunder 2003, I am trying to run Nascar racing 2003 by Papyrus. I did not buy NT 2003 because I read that it required some kind of display that was not avilable on 3dfx cards. Anyhow I see that Nascar Racing 2003 is much better anyways. My system is fast enough I think, a 1.3 althon, w/256ram and the v4500 32meg card. W98 2ed. Directx 9. I just got a reply on Racesim central that I may have a problem with GPL if I don't change a couple of .dll files. I guess nothing is perfect. As I read your instructions (I do not have to uninstall my present drivers???)THanks again for your interest.

I am presently using a voodoo4500 with 3dfx 4.12.01.0666 drivers from 3dfx.w98 2ed.I have had good success with all the race games untill Nascar 2003 and it locks up all the time. On the Sierra forum a player suggested I change to the amigamerlin 2.5 windows 9x drivers as he has been able to run n2003 with no problems on a v4500 and says they are very good. I have downloaded the drivers from 3dfx zone and am ready to install.Your readme says to simply click on the setup .exe and follow the instructions.Not the isetup.exe? Do I need to uninstall the old drivers first?? It has been a long time since I have installed drivers and I don't want to cause any problems with my system.Thanks for any help you may afford.
