if a v5 and a second card v2 or v1,that matches and work fine,agp and pci work fine all alone.

v5 does have mpeg2 accelaration,it listed in the vsa100 intro

seems kt333+8235+barton is the best choise

i am now using intel 815ep,and 845pe and newer ones do not support v5 agp,how about 845d? 848 or even via kt333,kt400 ,or nv nforce 2 nforce 3?
my system runs slow but i still wanna use my v5 agp,so i wanna choose the best chipsets fit for v5

yes,some old glide games can run correctly under v5
but some can not. it seems if you disable the sli in
v5 ,most games run even the v1 demo from 3dfx

i just wanna to set my v5 5500 up to 1680*1050,but it seems up to 1600*1024.i tried to modified the inf file and found sth related to the resolution setup,but i did not know how to chang it ,can sb help?

thanks a lot.I will try it again.i remember once i pressed action key,i just could see  different symbols for different portals,and i just freezed, could not move,the only thing that i could do was to choose the the portal and i could see a ghost(or a soul?)when a certain protal was selected,is that the sign for the activated portal?
anyway,i will try it this weekend, hope i can succeed,thanks for your help
